What does the pledge mean and why do I have to pay it?
The pledge for damages related to the car rental service represents a guarantee for accidents with a deductible (liability) that can vary between 100 and 500 euros, depending on the selected car.
The obligatory pledge is submitted by the client at the conclusion of the Rent a car Contract, will be frozen by the Bradus Auto Rent company, and is returned upon the return of the car, except for the following cases:
- Accidents (damages) caused to the rented car, ascertained by the competent Police bodies or by Bradus Auto Rent, due to the Client or an incognito author (in case the car is found vandalized or hit (injured).
- Theft of the rented car
- Failure to comply with the contractual conditions that attract additional costs for the car.
